Way back when, before “2 Fast 2 Furious” and “Transformers” there was this Tommy Hilfiger underwear model who tried his hand at a solo music career. Tyrese Gibson’s first successful single “Sweet Lady” stole the hearts of teenage girls everywhere and quickly became an R&B hit. Since then, his musical career and slowed down, but he is a double threat as he moonlights as an actor with several movies already under his belt. Currently, Tyrese is part of the group TGT, an R&B trio consisting of 2 other smooth vocalists, Tank and Ginuwine. Most recently Tyrese was seen singing the national anthem at the highly publicized Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton boxing match. However, it seemed that the “sweet lady’s did not want to be his” as his rendition was met with a chorus of “Boooooooooo’s”.
